Venues

Central London Venues We Work In

Central London offers the densest concentration of event venues in the UK — from Georgian private members' clubs in Mayfair to exposed-brick loft spaces in Fitzrovia and converted railway arches near Waterloo. Mobile bar hire works across all of them, provided access and licensing are confirmed at the planning stage.

Rooftop events in the West End and City are among our most common bookings. We bring portable bar units that do not require plumbing connections, making them suited to spaces where a fixed bar is impractical. Glassware, ice, cocktail ingredients, and all bar equipment travel with the team on the day.

Livery halls and corporate reception rooms in EC2–EC4 require early liaison with venue facilities teams; we handle that correspondence directly. For Soho media agency parties and Covent Garden product launches, we work within tight load-in windows and deliver fast setup — typically 90 minutes from van to bar-open. For guidance on corporate event bar hire in London, see our dedicated service page.

Logistics

Deliveries, Parking & Licensing

Central London's Congestion Charge zone and ULEZ boundary cover most of the postcodes we serve — WC, EC, W1, SW1, SE1. Our vehicles are ULEZ compliant and we factor Congestion Charge costs into the booking fee transparently. There are no surprise extras on the invoice.

Parking and unloading are planned in advance for every Central London event. We identify the nearest loading bay, confirm timing with venue staff, and — where required — apply for temporary suspension of parking restrictions through the relevant borough. Westminster, Camden, and the City of London each have different processes; we manage all of them.

Most Central London venues already hold a Premises Licence that covers our service. For events in unlicensed spaces — private offices above restaurants, rooftop terraces without their own licence, marquees in parks — we apply for a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) with a minimum of 10 working days' notice. This is included in our service at no additional cost.

Packages

Central London Bar Hire Packages

Three package types cover most Central London events. Dry hire gives you the bar unit, glassware, ice, and licensed bartenders; you supply the drinks. All-inclusive packages cover everything from spirits and mixers to garnishes and branded menus. Cash bar packages suit public or semi-public events where guests pay for their own drinks.

Dry hire starts from £350 for up to four hours and two bartenders. All-inclusive pricing starts from £6.50 per person per hour, covering cocktails, soft drinks, ice, and full bar service. Cash bar packages require a £500 booking fee and a £1,500 minimum spend on the night. All Central London bookings include travel, setup, and strike at no additional charge.

Weekend evenings in W1, WC2, and EC2–EC4 carry a £75 surcharge to cover extended parking arrangements and Congestion Charge. This is disclosed at quote stage. For private parties and celebrations, the private event bar hire London page details what each package includes in full.

08 — FAQ

Central London FAQ.

Do you need a licence to serve alcohol in Central London venues? +
Your venue will hold a premises licence in most cases. Where it does not — marquees, private offices, rooftops — we apply for a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) on your behalf. Every Sesh Bars bartender holds a personal licence under the Licensing Act 2003, so you are always compliant.
Can you set up inside listed buildings and heritage venues in the City? +
Yes. We have worked in Livery halls, Victorian railway arches, and Georgian townhouses across EC1–EC4 and WC1–WC2. Our bar units are freestanding and require no drilling or wall fixings. We assess venue access requirements at the site visit stage, which is always included in the booking process.
How early should I book a mobile bar for a Central London event? +
Central London venues are in high demand on Friday and Saturday evenings, particularly May–September and throughout December. We recommend booking 8–12 weeks in advance for weekend dates. Midweek and daytime events can often be confirmed on shorter notice.
What is the minimum guest count for Central London mobile bar hire? +
Our minimum booking is 30 guests for all-inclusive packages. For dry hire (bar unit and bartenders only, no drinks supplied), there is no minimum guest count. Events from 30 to 500 guests are regularly served across Central London.
